1.
Mi jelenti
számodra az „ideális otthon”-t?
What is an “ideal” home in your opinion?
The place you love deeply from the heart where you can enjoy your free time
in unrestraint where all family members can really relax. In forming an ideal
home it is also important that not only one person shapes the family’s
environment. My husband helps me a lot. His fingerprint is everywhere in the
garden, in the house, on my blog as well. But most important for me is that he truly
loves living in this way. According to my son our home is the most beautiful one
in the world. This is obviously not true but he thinks it with 5 years, what
could be more important?

Ha belépsz
valahova, azonnal látod min kellene változtatni, hogy otthonosabb legyen?
When you enter a room, do you always instantly see
that needs changing to make it more homely?
Most of the times yes. But I quite easily accept people how they are even
if they have other styles than me. Nothing may reflect personality better than
one’s home. I can see immediately what I would do differently but mostly I keep
it to myself and I indulge quickly into the other home’s atmosphere while I’m a
guest there.
3.
When you see an interesting solution (in a magazine,
on the Internet or at somebody’s place) do you try to realise it in your own
home?
Yes, it happens many times. But I don’t like making exact copies…or perhaps
I can’t. When I’m planning something in mind I’m already applying some little
changes that will differ from the original or suit better to our home.
What I like around me the most is colours. Or more precisely aligning and
combining more colours and their harmony. When I’m realising an idea I’ve seen,
usually this colour arranging dominates my activities. There always must be
harmony. I’ve been mainly missing it in the homes I’ve been to. Not the
furniture or the architectural solutions, money or lack of time. Rather the
subtle harmony where the whole creates a scene that you cannot even express
with words. It simply pleases the senses.

How did you realise you have a good taste for home
décor and dexterity for remaking?
I don’t know if I have sense for home decoration in general. The style we
live in I’m quite comfortable with, I like, feel and enjoy it. Even if this
style does not exist officially :) It is a mixture of feelings that have caught me in years and got united in
me. But if I was asked for advice in creating a modern, minimalist home for
instance, I would be in trouble…
5.
Gyermekeid
érkezése miképpen befolyásolta, hogy mit tartasz otthonosnak szépnek?
Where did the blog come from and what kind of changes did it undergo?
My taste basically has not changed, other possibilities have opened since
arranging the environment of small kids is a different task. It’s a great
pleasure for me, certainly mom’s style is everywhere in their snug…as long as
they allow it :)

Annyiban változott a
megrendeléseit is szeretem teljesíteni. A féléves kislányom környezetét
alakítgatni pedig egy egész más kihívás. Mindkettőben ott a felelősség is, hiszen
példát is mutatok ezzel, igyekszem a szemüket, lelküket a finomság, szépség
A közös alkotás öröme,
esztétikai nevelés, a kézzel készült ajándékok, játékok értéke mind hozzáadódik
a személyiségükhöz, ebben bízom.
Many women claim the birth of their children
brought out the creativeness in them – what about you?
I needed creativity even before their arrival. It has not changed compared
to the period when there was only me and my husband. The situation has slightly
changed and now our five-year old son joins the creative work. And I also like
to fulfil his little orders. Forming my half-year old daughter’s environment is
a completely different challenge. There is responsibility in both since I want
to show example by directing their eyes and soul towards delicacy and beauty.
To show them the joy of creating something. My son is very susceptible, it’s a
pleasure to see the good taste in everything he creates. So I like making
things as before but the road has changed a bit. The joy of common work,
esthetical education, the value of hand-made gifts, toys all add up to their
personality, and I believe in that.

Mi a kedvenc
időtöltésed, mi kapcsol ki a legjobban?
What is your favourite past time activity, what
relaxes you the most?
Silence :) Though my family is not exceptionally loud :) A garden or Country Home
magazine, a cup of tea and peaceful needlework. A good movie or a trip with the
family. Travelling with my husband. Gardening. Taking photos for my blog.
Driving alone…
8.
Mik a kedvenc
blogjaid?
Which are your favourite blogs?
I was sitting on this question the most. However, I wouldn’t name any.
Those pages that are edited by people I have something in common with. I like
pages devoted to country life, vintage values where each time we can find a
little different, demanding selection about the world. I also value those blogs
where each post is self made with own taste and ideas.

Magyarországon
miben kellene a leginkább fejlődnünk otthonteremtés terén?
Where does Hungary need to develop when talking about
home-creating?
There are still few good examples to chose from. If you want to delve into
a home interior style or trend, you still need to get hold of international
magazines rather than browsing Hungarian sites on the Internet.
10.
Mivel
foglalkozol jelenleg (otthon, blog, munka, hobbi)?
What are you currently involved in (home, blog, work,
hobby)?
Currently I’m at home with my daughter for a longer period which is great.
My son goes to the kindergarten. I also go to work a little. I like my job very
much…my degree is in music, teacher of classical singing, singer and chamber
music artist. But I have chosen teaching and later the musical education of
early childhood as my profession. I have a great belief in its importance, and
I enjoy every occasion to sit on the carpet with parents and their children at
Ringató sessions. I don’t think there is any other job or activity I could love
more… I wouldn’t enjoy working on stage so much.

Mik a terveid a
Néhány kisebb építészeti újítás a kertben, megtartani a
kis családi hagyományokat, a júniusi Levendula ünnepet a barátokkal. Készülni,
díszíteni a házat a családi ünnepekre. Jókat főzni, a kisfiammal sütni, kicsit
utazni, kézimunkázni, együtt barkácsolni a férjemmel. Nekem nincsenek nagy
terveim.
There are always little everyday plans…most of them are connected to our
home. A few architectural additions in the garden, keeping the family
traditions, the lavender party with friends in June. Prepare and decorate the
house for the family celebrations. Cook good food, bake with my son, travel a
little, needlework, handicraft together with my husband. I don’t have big
plans. Only the biggest ones :) Healthy, balanced children, a happy husband. This may sound commonplace
but I’m trying to find the real values of life in time, while still young…I
feel that I can find it mostly at home.
